LOCATION:  Towanda VFC

·       EVENT: Out of State Specialized Crew Meeting & Work Capacity Test (pack); walk 3 miles with a 45 pound pack in 45 minutes.

·       DATE: March 31, 2012

·       TIME: 9:00am to 11:30am

·       EVENT: Endless Mtns. Support Crew Meeting & Work Capacity Test (pack); walk 2 miles with a 25 pound pack in 30 minutes.

·       DATE: March 31, 2012

·       TIME: 11:45am to 5:00pm

·       EVENT: Endless Mtns. Support Crew Meeting & Work Capacity Test (pack); walk 2 miles with a 25 pound pack in 30 minutes.

·       DATE: TBD

·       TIME: TBD

            A second pack test will be offered for Support Crew members once a suitable date is chosen.

** REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR BOTH PACK TESTS  MARCH 23^rd 2010

** Fire Shelter Training for both crews will follow their pack test

***     YOU MUST PREREGISTER FOR ALL CLASSES. 

***      IF MINIMUM CLASS SIZE IS NOT MET THE CLASS WILL BE CANCELLED

***      IF PHONING TO REGISTER PLEASE LEAVE YOUR PHONE NUMBER IN CASE A CLASS   

            IS CANCELLED.

            There are two classes which will be announced at a later date due to scheduling conflicts.  These are the L-180 and chainsaw safety.  Once I have confirmed dates, I will send another announcement out.
