LOCATION:  Herrick Twp VFC. 

·       COURSE: PA-130, Basic Wildland Firefighting Part 1

·       DATE: March 13th, 2012

·       TIME: 6:00pm to 10:00pm

·       COURSE: PA-130, Basic Wildland Firefighting Part 2

·       DATE: March 14th, 2012

·       TIME: 6:00pm to 10:00pm

·       COURSE: PA-130, Basic Wildland Firefighting Field Exercise

·       DATE: March 17th, 2012

·       TIME: 9:00am to 3:00pm

** REGISTRATION DEADLINE:  March 9th, 2012

** Minimum class size of 10 students. Applicants can contact Craig Aldenderfer to apply.

** S-190 & PA-130 are required training to be a certified wildland firefighter & Local Forest Fire Warden.

** Students must complete all PA-130 training sessions to receive full credit.

**Out of State Specialized Crew Members must successfully complete S-190, PA-130, IS-700 and the Work Capacity Test (annually) and maintain fire camp currency (attend every 3 years) to qualify for an out of state fire assignment.

***     YOU MUST PREREGISTER FOR ALL CLASSES. 

***      IF MINIMUM CLASS SIZE IS NOT MET THE CLASS WILL BE CANCELLED

***      IF PHONING TO REGISTER PLEASE LEAVE YOUR PHONE NUMBER IN CASE A CLASS   

            IS CANCELLED.

            There are two classes which will be announced at a later date due to scheduling conflicts.  These are the L-180 and chainsaw safety.  Once I have confirmed dates, I will send another announcement out.
